The coziest Apple Crisp for Fall.

Writer's picture: Brandi BowmanBrandi Bowman

Very few things are cozier than a Fall afternoon with football or a fall movie on, the windows open allowing in the crisp autumn air and the smell of apple crisp baking in the oven wafting through the house. It's like the epitome of the perfect Fall day. I have always loved apple crisp. Every Fall growing up my mom would make a big batch in this Pampered Chef metal cake pan with the matching metal lid. When I went away to college, that was the first recipe I messaged her for. I found out it was my Nanny's (her mom) when she sent me a photo of Nanny's handwritten recipe card. Over the years, I have tweaked it just a tiny bit by turning up the temperature for the last 15 minutes which truly caramelizes the apples with the brown sugar and butter. When I see fresh picked apples at the local farmers market each August I can't resist grabbing them knowing this recipe is the first one made with those very first apples of the season. It is hands down the BEST apple crisp recipe ever, and one you will want to add in your Fall treat rotation for years to come.
